About
Hi, I’m Ellie. I’m an elementary ELD teacher. I’ve been supporting MLs for 12 years. I have three kids and have been homeschooling for 5 years. My spouse is an elementary ELD teacher and former second grade teacher.
As a new ELD teacher without a curriculum, I was searching for materials to support my students. Eventually, I began creating my own resources. Slowly, I started listing these resources on Teachers Pay Teachers. Over time, I started sharing tips and ideas for working with MLs on A World of Language Learners Blog. I have an Instagram page where you can see products in action.
In 2020, I started homeschooling my then preschooler. Now, I am creating materials for preschool through fifth grade to support my own kids, along with continuing to create materials to support MLs.
Thank you for sharing all of these creative ideas and products for teaching ELs. Your expertise and dedication is making a difference for so many teachers and students!
